Train and Bus to Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu is a protected natural area of high historical value, its forests, high mountains, rivers, and the enormous variety of flora and fauna inside, have made it one of the most amazing environments on the planet. If you already have your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu, know that once in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town), there is still a stretch before reaching the “lost city of the Incas”. This can be done by bus or walking. Walking will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
To get to Aguas Calientes the only way we recommend is by train (adventurers can also get off at one of the stations and hike the Inca Trail).
The train offers many travel options, from the most economical to the most luxurious, including gourmet food. During the journey you will be able to appreciate various landscapes of great beauty. Ask for the appropriate option for you.
