Arrival at Cusco. Our guide and mobility will be waiting for you and will take you through the roads of the Andes to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On route visit to Awanacancha ranch, where you will meet South American camelids as well as enjoy a weaving demonstration. Continuing with Pisaq Market.

Night at Sacred Valley.


Today we will visit in the morning the Inca town and fortress of Ollantaytambo. Guide and transportation will take you to visit one of the most amazing places in the Sacred Valley. The town of Ollantaytambo is known as the only Inca town inhabited until this days. Also, in the fortress, you will be able to appreciate the blocks of pink granite with which the Temple of the Sun was built. This temple was possibly modified in the time of the Incas, which built over ancient constructions that they found.

Lunch at Tunupa restaurant. According to the myths and legends, Tunupa was a God that came from the South to civilize the inhabitants of this regions. His sculpture of 130 meters is carved in one of the mountains of Ollantaytambo.

In the afternoon we will continue the visit of: Moray and Maras. The first consists of giant circular terraces that were possibly agricultural laboratories with micro climates. Others suggest that this large terraces were used for capturing energy or as an energetic portal.

We will continue visiting the salt pans of Maras, you will have the chance to buy  pink salt, extracted from the depth of the Andes mountains.

Night at Sacred Valley.


We will take the train in the morning and after an hour we will get down to start the hike through the Inca Trail at km 104, on the road that goes to Machupicchu. This trail connects with the Inca citadel of Wiñaywayna which is located at an altitude of 2500 m.a.s.l. suspended in the mountain. We will arrive at Machupicchu in the afternoon.  Walking time: 5 hours 30 minutes approximately. Box lunch included.

Night at Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu Town.


In the morning we will go to the small waterfalls of Machu Picchu Town to make a purifying ritual conducted by a shaman from the area.

In the afternoon we will ascend by bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu, known as the lost city of the Incas, to explore its palaces, temples and astronomical sites.

Night at Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu Town.

DAY 5: HIKE WAYNAPICCHU mountain (optional hike- subject to availability)

In the morning we will climb Waynapicchu Mountain, considered a protector spirit or sacred “Apu” that guards the citadel of Machu Picchu. From the top you will have a wonderful view, and will be able to appreciate the whole environment that surrounds Machu Picchu.

In the afternoon return train to Cusco.

Night at Cusco.


We will head to Saqsaywaman area and visit one of the most impressive megalithic buildings of ancient times. Its construction is attributed by the archaeologists to the times of Inca Pachacuteq, though many scholars have questioned lately how such a construction was possible. Without knowing the wheel or precise tools, this work challenges modern man and his technology. Popularly known as the Fortress, also as Sun Temple, its real purpose or function is actually unknown.  We will reach the sector called “Suchuna” or slide and enter a “Chincana”, galleries or underground passages that, according to oral traditions, communicated the entire Inca empire.

We will continue the visit with Q´enqo, archaeological site known as temple to the Pachamama. We will enter the underground chamber of ceremonies popularly known as chamber of sacrifices and mummification.

*Ending the tour, we will reach a special place where a shaman of the “Q´ero” community will be waiting for us to make a gratitude offering to the Pachamama. (*bookings must be done with anticipation).

Night at Cusco.


Today we will know the historical center of Cusco in a walking tour, visiting the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, the Cathedral with its colonial art works, the 12 angles stone and the local market of San Pedro.

In the afternoon transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima.
