Colca Canyon is 165 km from the city of Arequipa. The main town we will reach is Chivay at a height of 3,640 meters above sea level. The canyon is one of the deepest in the world with 4,150 meters deep.

On the route to Chivay you will see many domesticated and non-domesticated camelids such as llamas, alpacas and the famous vicuñas, perhaps also some vizcachas that are similar to squirrels but much larger. This whole region is a protected area. Condors can be seen mainly flying over the Colca canyon, but they may also accompany you on the route.

The transfer in private mobility takes about 5 hours from Chivay to Puno, the route is paved with impressive landscapes until reaching the shores of Lake Titicaca where the city of Puno is located.

There are 11 kilometers. Generally, our clients do it in 5 to 6 hours walking; we have experience carrying groups of families with children from 8 years of age.
